GLASHEEN, VALLES & INDERMAN INJURY LAWYERS SUN BOWL PARADE November 25, 2022

EL PASO, Texas – On what seemed like an almost perfect-weather day for a huge gathering, over 200,000 people sat along a three-mile route on Montana Ave. for the 86th Annual Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade, which was televised once again for the world to watch on KTSM New Ch. 9 on Thursday, Nov. 24, Thanksgiving morning.

KTSM TV produced an Emmy Award Winning Virtual Parade in 2020 due to the pandemic but the pre-pandemic crowds lined filed on the sidewalks and in the yards of businesses and residences to take in the longstanding tradition of the holiday parade.

“First, we’d like to thank the community for supporting the Sun Bowl Association and events such as the Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade,” said Sun Bowl Executive Director Bernie Olivas. “We could not do this without our Sponsor, Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers and without our parade TV partner, KTSM TV. Also, a huge thank you to the over 700 volunteers that make the event great and possible. We are thankful for the wonderful business and organizations that help us out year-after-year.”

This was the second parade with Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers as the title sponsor and the group hopes to return next year to give the people what they want, “The People’s Parade.”

The community expressed its gratitude in being able to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the event. There were 65 units in the parade, which included floats, military, high school bands and many other various entries.

“With all the tragedies happening around our country, we cannot express enough gratitude, appreciation and thanks to the Office of Emergency Management, the City of El Paso, the El Paso Police Department, the El Paso Fire Department and all others who made it possible for the community to come out and feel safe," said Olivas.
