GLASHEEN, VALLES & INDERMAN INJURY LAWYERS SUN BOWL PARADE November 26, 2021

EL PASO, Texas – After a year of having an Emmy Award Winning Virtual Parade in 2020 due to the pandemic, not even the chilly weather could keep El Pasoans off Montana Ave. to watch the 85th Annual Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade, which was televised once again for the world to watch on KTSM New Ch. 9 on Thursday, Nov. 25, Thanksgiving morning.

Thousands upon thousands crowded the sidewalks and took to the yards of businesses and residences to enjoy one of El Paso’s largest-attended events. The community expressed its gratitude in being able to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the event. There were 77 units in the parade, which included floats, military, high school bands and many other various entries.

“It’s amazing how smoothly things seemed to have gone, especially after having a year off and with the tragic situation in Wisconsin. Our thoughts and prayers are with them,” said Sun Bowl Association Executive Director Bernie Olivas. “We cannot express enough gratitude, appreciation and thanks to the Office of Emergency Management, the City of El Paso, the El Paso Police Department, the El Paso Fire Department and all others who made it possible for the community to come out and feel safe.”

This was the first parade with Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers as the title sponsor and the group hopes to return next year to give the people what they want, “The People’s Parade.”

Noe Valles, Lawyer at Glassheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers stated before the start of the parade, “It’s great to see people out celebrating and simply, celebrating life.”

A community member watching the parade said, “We are [super] excited, very excited you know! It’s our first time since Covid and we are just trying to come out, with everyone, together.”

Just about every year, awards have been given for different categories in the Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade and this year’s winners are listed below.
